GCL Tech, Mubadala to open polysilicon factory in UAE

GCL Tech and MDC Power signed a cooperation agreement to build a polysilicon manufacturing facility in the United Arab Emirates, the first in the Middle East. GCL Tech aims for further collaboration with Mubadala. GCL Tech has significant ingot and wafer capacities in China and is advancing perovskite tandem technology. Mubadala is a sovereign wealth fund of Abu Dhabi.
