GE Vernova wins repowering deal from Italy’s IVPC Group

US energy equipment manufacturer GE Vernova Inc has secured an order to deliver 6.1-MW turbines for a wind repowering project in Italy. The order was placed by local developer IVPC Group. GE Vernova will supply five units of its 6.1-MW turbines with a 158-metre rotor to replace older units at Montefalcone wind park and boost its output. The project is expected to be finalised by the end of 2025.
