German startup offers design tool for heat pump installers

German startup Autarc has launched an online platform to assist HVAC professionals in selling, designing, and installing residential heat pump systems. The platform integrates LiDAR technology for remote sensing, heat load calculation, and system design. Autarc's software, available by subscription, has been utilized in over 30,000 homes in Germany. The company has received seed-stage funding from investors including PropTech1 Ventures and Better ventures. Autarc is also involved in residential geothermal heat pump technology.
