Global investment in clean energy technologies and infrastructure is set to reach USD 2 trillion (EUR 1.84trn) in 2024, almost double the amount to be spent on fossil fuels. China, Europe, and the United States are expected to lead the clean energy investment. Solar PV investments will reach USD 500 billion in 2024, with a significant focus on grids and battery storage.
