Chinese air conditioner manufacturer Gree Electric Appliances has launched a photovoltaic DC air conditioner for residential and commercial applications. The system utilizes multimode commutation technology and offers a complete power generation solution. It can switch between five different operation modes and claims a high direct-driven utilization rate. Gree is based in Zhuhai, China.
