Greece launches 1 GW storage tender

RAAEY, Greece's regulatory authority for waste, energy, and water, has announced a new energy storage program allocating 1 GW capacity. The program includes three tenders funded by the EU's post-pandemic recovery fund. Eligible projects from the EEA, focusing on Greece's electricity network and energy transition areas. Generous subsidies, CfDs, and strict tender rules aim to promote competitiveness and market participation in the energy storage sector.
