GreenIT unveils 3GW Italy floater partnership

GreenIT, the Italian JV between Plenitude, CDP Equity and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners has launched Divento, a partnership dedicated to the development of a 3GW portfolio of five floating offshore wind projects in Italy. The plants will produce approximately 8TWh of renewable energy and contribute to Italy’s decarbonisation goals as outlined in the 2030 National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan. Divento has already obtained the EIA Decree for the 250MW 7Seas Med site, becoming the first EIA approval for a large offshore wind farm in the Mediterranean.
