Gstar commits to 2 GW solar module factory in UAE

Gstar signed an MoU for a 2 GW solar module manufacturing project in the UAE with a Middle Eastern consortium. The project focuses on high-efficiency N-type technology. GStar also broke ground on a 3 GW wafer factory in Indonesia earlier this year. Additionally, Chinese polysilicon maker, GCL Tech, partnered with Emirati state-owned Mubadala Investment Co. to build the Middle East’s first polysilicon factory in the UAE.
