Hamburg 2024: Enercon gains 4MW turbine certification

Enercon has received the type certificate for its E-138 EP3 E3 turbine from TUV Nord. The certification was handed over at WindEnergy Hamburg. The turbine, with a rotor diameter of 138 meters and a rated output of 4.26MW, underwent successful measurements in Staphorst, Netherlands. Sascha Exner, the EP3 product manager, mentioned the milestone in the product roadmap, including the upcoming E-138 EP3 E4 development.
