US renewables developer Hecate Energy partners with local engineering company Bechtel to build a 360 MW solar plant in Calhoun County, Michigan. The project, Sunfish Solar 2, is part of Hecate's 1-GW solar development in the county. Construction to begin in 2024 and project expected to be operational in 2026, supplying power to 183,500 Michigan homes annually.
