Heineken Romania concludes a partnership with Engie to accelerate decarbonization efforts

Heineken Romania has partnered with Engie to accelerate decarbonization efforts, aiming to reach Net Zero CO2 emissions by 2030. The collaboration involves implementing high-efficiency technology and energy solutions at three local factories in Miercurea-Ciuc, Ungheni, and Craiova. Engie will provide decarbonization solutions such as saving energy, heat pumps, and a biodigester. Heineken's global ambition is to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions and has already reduced emissions by 34% compared to 2018.
