Heliene to supply US domestic content modules to UGE

North American solar manufacturer Heliene Inc has entered into a multi-year module supply agreement and strategic partnership with community and commercial solar developer UGE. This partnership allows UGE projects to qualify for the Domestic Content Investment Tax Credit Bonus under the Inflation Reduction Act. The agreement aims to help UGE reduce supply chain risk. Additionally, Heliene and Suniva collaborated to produce US domestic content-eligible PV modules. UGE is expected to become eligible for the Domestic Content Tax Credit on projects starting construction as early as this summer.
