Hitachi Energy to support US transmission link

Hitachi Energy has signed a long-term agreement with Pattern Energy to deploy HVDC technologies for the SunZia transmission project. This large-scale project involves creating a link between the SunZia Wind project in New Mexico to Arizona and other western states, enhancing the delivery of renewable energy through advanced HVDC Light technology. The link aims to integrate wind power efficiently over 885 km, making it one of the largest HVDC installations in the U.S. and supporting the transition to renewable energy.
