A German research team successfully developed a layer-by-layer solvent extraction approach for recycling perovskite solar cells with up to 99.97% recycled mass, leading to substantial cost savings. The study focused on the recovery of various materials used in solar cells, including spiro-OMeTAD, and emphasized the importance of recycling for sustainability.
