Scientists from the University of Nottingham and Southwest Jiaotong University developed a novel hydronic closed-loop PV cooling system for hot and arid regions. The system includes a water tank, water pipes, a circulation pump, and an absorber plate to improve the lifespan of the PV panel by reducing temperature fluctuations. Tests showed increased power output and lifespan extension of the PV system. The proposed system offers a sustainable solution for enhancing PV panel performance.
