Hygroscopic hydrogel may increase solar module yield by 2.1%

Scientists from the South China University of Technology have developed a passive solar module cooling technology using a hygroscopic hydrogel. They conducted a study on the impact of improved thermal conductivity on heat and mass transfer during the hydrogel evaporative cooling process.
