IEA-PVPS launches action group on agrivoltaics

Agrivoltaics, the practice of combining PV installations with agricultural activities, offers a unique solution to challenges in land use, climate resilience, and energy transition. Despite its advantages, barriers exist for widespread implementation. The International Energy Agency Photovoltaic Power Systems Programme (IEA PVPS) has established the Action Group on Agrivoltaics to foster international collaboration and optimize land use efficiency, enhance agricultural resilience, and promote social consensus for solar energy adoption.
