Improving perovskite solar cell performance with phenethyl ammonium chloride

An international research team developed a method to fabricate perovskite thin films using PEACl for simultaneous deposition and passivation, resulting in improved solar cell performance. The method also reduces synthesis steps and stabilizes perovskite films. By adding PEACl to the antisolvent in the spin coating step, the team achieved a high power conversion efficiency of 20.9%.
