Indian state-owned hydropower company SJVN is inviting bids to develop 1.2 GW of solar projects on a build-own-operate basis across India. These projects should connect to the interstate transmission system and are aimed at a 25-year power purchase agreement with SJVN. The power from these projects will be sold to various entities in India. The tender specifies that these projects can be at any stage but should not be part of any state or central scheme or have existing obligations.
