India launches 1.6 GW of hybrid wind-solar tenders

NTPC has initiated bids for 1.2 GW of wind-solar hybrid projects in India. There are additional bids for 100 MW by NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd. and 400 MW by SECI. The projects involve grid connection, build-own-operate basis, and long-term PPAs.
