India launches 2 GW/8 GWh renewables-plus-storage tender

SECI is seeking bids from developers to set up 2 GW of renewable energy projects with energy storage systems in India. The projects will connect to the interstate transmission system and will be selected through e-bidding and e-reverse auction. Winning bidders will sign 25-year power purchase agreements with SECI. Developers with existing projects can also participate. Selected developers will build projects with energy storage systems and transmission infrastructure for power supply to SECI.
