India records 14.7 GW of new solar in fiscal 2024

India installed 14.7 GW of solar capacity in fiscal 2024, with top states for additions being Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Karnataka have high installed solar capacity. JMK Research projects 16.9 GW of new utility-scale solar projects in the year ending March 31, 2025. Top module suppliers in India were Jinko, Longi, and Trina. The Approved List of Models and Manufacturers order impacted module shipments. Domestic panel manufacturers like Waaree, Adani, and Vikram Solar exported a significant portion of their production. Sungrow, Fimer, and Sineng led in inverter shipments.
