India's Gujarat unveils winners in 500 MW solar auction

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) in India has awarded 500 MW of solar power capacity in its Phase XXIV auction. The successful bids range from INR 2.67 to INR 2.72 per kWh. Winners will sign 25-year PPAs for their projects with Ministry of New and Renewable Energy approved solar panels.
