India’s NHPC launches tender for 2.4 GW of solar

NHPC has launched a tender to select developers for 1.2 GW of grid-connected solar PV projects in India. The developers will set up projects on a build-own-operate basis across India, connecting to the inter-state transmission system. Solar power generated will be purchased by NHPC and sold to state utilities. The projects are tendered under Open category, with minimum project size of 50 MW.
