India unveils incentives for green hydrogen, electrolyzer production

India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has released guidelines for incentive schemes for green hydrogen and electrolyzer production. MNRE appointed Solar Energy Corp. of India Ltd as implementing agency. Incentives will be provided for five years from commencement of electrolyzer manufacturing. Selection of beneficiaries based on domestic value addition and performance quotient. First round bids will be launched for 1.5 GW of electrolyzer capacity.
