Researchers at National Institute of Technology in Assam, India have designed a formamidinium tin iodide (FASnI3) perovskite solar cell with a high power conversion efficiency. The cell structure includes various layers like fluorine-doped tin oxide and zinc oxide. They achieved an exceptional open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current density, and power conversion efficiency. The study focused on optimizing the thickness, defect density, and doping concentration of the active layer (FASnI3) to enhance solar cell efficiency.
