INS: Romania’s crude oil production fell by 3.8% in the first 5 months

Romania's crude oil production in the first 5 months of 2024 decreased by 3.8% compared to the same period in the previous year. There is a forecasted decline in crude oil production until 2027 due to the natural decline of deposits and maintenance of existing production units. Crude oil imports are expected to increase from 7.35 million toe in 2023 to 7.8 million toe in 2027.
