Israel presents 2050 net-zero roadmap envisaging up to 77% solar share

The Israeli Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has published a roadmap for net-zero emissions in the energy sector by 2050. The plan includes scenarios with heavy reliance on solar energy, hydrogen technology, and nuclear power plants. Electricity and energy demand are expected to increase significantly by 2050 due to electrification of transportation and industry.
