Italian NGO seeking contractors to repair 100 kWp minigrid in DRC

AVSI Foundation in South Kivu province, Democratic Republic of the Congo opened a tender for repair of a 100 kWp minigrid in Kashara-Kimomo village. The minigrid started work in December 2020, faced malfunctions, and no longer supplies energy. AVSI is hiring a third-party contractor to replace the energy storage and conversion systems, and conduct a comprehensive analysis within six months.
