J-Power starts up 41.5-MW wind farm in Japan

Japanese electric utility J-Power has commenced commercial operation of its 41.5-MW Kaminokuni No. 2 wind farm on Hokkaido island. The wind park, owned by J-Wind Kaminokunio Ltd, consists of ten Siemens Gamesa wind turbines. J-Power has nine operational wind parks in Hokkaido and a total wind power output of around 755.7 MW in Japan.
