J-Power starts up 41.5-MW wind farm in Japan

Japanese electric utility J-Power announced the commencement of commercial operation of its Kaminokuni No. 2 wind farm in Hokkaido island. The wind park, owned by J-Wind Kaminokunio Ltd, features ten Siemens Gamesa wind turbines with a total output of 41.5 MW. J-Power now has a total wind power output of around 755.7 MW with various wind parks in Japan.
