A fire occurred at JinkoSolar's factory in Taiyuan, Shanxi, on April 26. The incident, which caused no casualties or toxic leaks, was quickly contained by the local fire brigade. However, the fire reignited, intensifying the efforts required to control it. The facility affected, part of a larger 56 GW production project valued at CNY 56 billion, has insurance coverage and has begun the claims process. JinkoSolar anticipates the fire will impact its 2024 annual results, including reduced production capacity.
