Juwi builds 500 megawatts of solar power in Colorado

Juwi is building three solar parks in Colorado to supply electricity to Tri-State members. Tri-State, a non-profit utility, is purchasing renewable energy projects to decarbonize its electricity mix and achieve 50% renewable energy goal. The purchase is enabled by the Inflation Reduction Act, allowing cooperatives like Tri-State to benefit from federal tax credits for renewable energy. Several solar projects are being developed to meet Tri-State's renewable energy targets.
