Kosovo opens solar thermal system subsidies for mirco to medium businesses

Kosovo’s Ministry of Economy has launched a rebate scheme for solar thermal systems. The scheme offers a subsidy of 40% of the investment value, covering up to €300 per m² of panels. Additional €200 is available for businesses owned by women with a 51% or more stake. The rebate scheme is supported by European Union funding. Deadline for applications is August 31. Kosovo also announced a solar thermal system subsidy for household consumers with up to €1,000 per applicant. Timber framed solar carports for residential and commercial applications have been introduced by Sweden-based Innoventum.
