Kosovo's gross electric production in February 2024 saw a decline of 7% year-over-year, totaling 663.71 GWh. Thermal sources dominated production with 567.9 GWh, while renewable sources collectively contributed less significantly. Despite a slight decrease in net imports, exports surged by 86%. Additionally, February marked a 30% increase in coal production compared to the previous year, reflecting shifts in energy sourcing and utilization.
