L&T tapped to build 3.5 GW of solar projects in Middle East

Indian engineering major Larsen & Toubro Ltd (NSE:LT) has been selected to build two solar projects in the Middle East with a combined capacity of 3.5 GW. The company will also be in charge of grid interconnections encompassing pooling substations and overhead transmission lines. L&T's renewables portfolio now stands at nearly 22 GWp cumulative capacity.
