LCOE ranges tighten in Lazard’s latest financial report

The latest levelised cost of electricity (LCOE) report from US analyst firm Lazard highlights the dominance of renewable energy technologies in the US energy sector. Solar and onshore wind are identified as the cheapest sources of power generation, with utility-scale PV having an LCOE range of US$29-92/MWh, closely following onshore wind (US$27-73/MWh).
