Limak commissions part of Turkey’s second-largest solar power plant

Limak Renewable Energy has started generating electricity from a portion of its Erzin-1 solar power plant of 140 MW capacity in Turkey. The project, under the YEKA subsidy scheme, aims to foster domestic equipment and labor. Limak Group of Companies, a major player in the industry, has secured financing through Ziraat Bank and Euler Hermes. The project has created hundreds of jobs and is expected to be one of the largest photovoltaic facilities in Turkey upon completion.
