Solar developer and power producer Lodestone Energy plans to build a 220-MW solar park in New Zealand's South Island. The project will be funded through a Series D capital raising. Lodestone will partner with Haldon Station for the execution of the project, scheduled to begin construction in 2025. The solar farm aims to generate 340 GWh of electricity annually, enough to power nearly 50,000 homes. The selected site offers top-quality solar resources, proximity to transmission infrastructure, good road access, and minimal visual impact.
