Lower solar, wind output drive European electricity prices up

Most major European markets recorded average electricity prices increase last week. Prices increased in British, German, Italian, Nordic, Portuguese and Spanish markets but decreased in Belgian, Dutch, and French markets. Nordic market had the lowest average price. Solar and wind production decrease led to higher prices despite decline in gas and CO2 prices.
