France and Luxembourg's Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Energy have selected 85 solar self-consumption projects totaling 43.3 MW in the country's inaugural tender. The chosen projects will receive €16.1 million in rebates out of a €30 million budget. The tender included three project categories with different subsidy ceilings based on installation sizes. The third category secured the largest portion with 32.7 MW capacity. The developers have 18 months to finalize their projects, and the ministry plans to launch a second tender in July.
