Maryland signs new offshore wind law

The US state of Maryland signed legislation to advance its offshore wind goals. US Wind, with CEO Jeffrey Grybowski, will develop offshore wind farms and a manufacturing facility at Sparrows Point. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management approved US Wind's environmental impact statement.
