Masdar, Taaleri reach financial close on Čibuk 2 wind farm in Serbia, sign CfD

Masdar and Taaleri SolarWind III Fund reached financial close for Čibuk 2 wind power plant in Serbia. The 154 MW facility will be built next to the existing Čibuk wind farm. UniCredit and Erste provided project financing. Masdar plans to increase investments in Central and Eastern Europe. Masdar agreed to take over Terna Energy to accelerate expansion in Greece and Europe. Čibuk 2 will help EPS transition towards renewables. Masdar aims to become a leading producer of green hydrogen by 2030.
