Maxeon initiates unitary patent infringement lawsuit against Aiko, partners

Singapore-based PV manufacturer Maxeon Solar Technologies files patent infringement lawsuit in Europe against Aiko Solar and its distributors. Maxeon alleges infringement on a patent related to solar cell technology. Maxeon seeks injunctions in multiple countries and plans to appeal a preliminary injunction decision in the Netherlands. Maxeon also filed lawsuits in the US against Canadian Solar, Hanwha Qcells, and REC Solar Holdings AS for patent infringement.
