Maxeon to offer warranty support for bankrupt SunPower

SunPower, a US residential solar installer, has closed its business with Maxeon taking over warranty support. Maxeon, focusing on manufacturing, had a supply agreement with SunPower that was terminated in 2023. Maxeon stopped shipping products to SunPower since Q1 2024 and offers a 40-year warranty on its products.
