US casino operator MGM Resorts International doubling access to solar electricity with a 115-MW solar-plus-storage project in Lincoln County, Nevada. Signed 25-year PPA with Estuary Power for The Escape Solar + Storage project. New facility to power 28,000 homes annually backed by 100-MW/400-MWh BESS. MGM Resorts already covers 90% of daytime energy needs at 11 Las Vegas Strip properties, aiming for 100%.
