Michigan Public Service Commission to retain control over renewable energy permitting

Citizens for Local Choice in Michigan failed to transfer permitting control of renewable energy projects to local governments. They opposed House Bill 5120 and criticized the MPSC. The petition lacked enough signatures. MPSC rejected PPA replacements for biomass projects with solar farms agreements.
