Michigan Public Service Commission to retain control over renewable energy permitting

Citizens for Local Choice in Michigan argued for local control over renewable energy project permits, but the petition to transfer control to local government failed to gather enough signatures. Michigan remains under the authority of the MPSC for permitting large-scale renewables, despite opposition from Citizens for Local Choice.
