Midsummer, Kaisheng partner on thin-film solar production

Midsummer, a Swedish solar company, has partnered with China's Kaisheng New Energy Technology to produce thin-film solar panels for the European market. The collaboration will focus on building CIGS technology-based panels, including a new product named BOLD S, targeting commercial and industrial buildings. Midsummer's CEO, Eric Jaremalm, emphasized the partnership's potential to meet production demands and explore new market segments due to price sensitivities and EU customs benefits.
