Mihaela Suciu: DEER will invest 100 mln. euro annually

Mihaela Suciu, the general director of Distributie Energie Electrică Romania (DEER), revealed that the company will invest approximately 100 million euros annually to modernize the power distribution network. DEER ensures the delivery of electricity in 18 counties, with a significant need for modernization due to most networks being built before 2000. They are committed to accessing European funds for projects totaling over 3 billion lei. Suciu highlighted the importance of strong distribution systems for energy projects and emphasized the challenges faced by the lack of executors in the market.
